On March 20-26, 2007, Ms. Chen Meilin, Executive Associate General Secretary of China Christian Council and 2 technicians from World Expo Group International Trade Promotion Co., Ltd. visited Cologne and Bavaria in Germany as a pre-exploration of the Chinese Bible Exhibition in Germany. Rev. Paul Oppenheim, the Executive Secretary for Asia of EKD church office, accompanied them to visit the exhibition sites located in the Cologne Convention Center (DOM), and they discussed with Mrs. Mirja Grosskinsky about the design and construction issues. Afterward the group paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of Kirchentag, and exchanged views with Rev Jan Janssen, Mrs. Elke Janssen and Mrs. Arlett Rumpff. Rev. Janssen said that they are honored to invite the church in China to attend the 2007 Kichentag, and hold the Bible binistry Exhibition in Cologne.

They are looking forward to receiveing brothers and sisters from China. He said, we will enjoy together for sharing our common faith under the abundant grace of God at Kirchentag.

 Afterwards we visited the mission center of Evangelical Lutheran Bavaria Church located in Neuendettelsau, where we met Rev. Dr.HermannVorlander, Rev. Dr. Philipp Hauenstein and Rev. Thomas Paulsteiner. ELBC would like to invite us to hold a small scale of Bible Ministry Exhibition in their center after it was held in Cologne from June 13th to July 23th.
