The fundamental content of Reconstruction of Theological Thinking is to elaborate the basic Christian belief and ethical norms in the integration with the national situation and culture in China. The purpose of it is to enable us to evangelize in a more procreate way in the land of China, help believers seek for their faith healthily, and help our churches to be adaptable to the society.

Since 2002, the ministry of Reconstruction of Theological Thinking of CCC/TSPM was brought into a deeper phase, that is to set up the correct understanding of the Bible. Provincial and municipal Christian Councils and TSPMs organized seminars and published symposia of theological thesis. We also organized a writing group composed by young pastors and seminary teachers to discuss and share ideas about the Reconstruction of Theological Thinking. A collection of sermons ‘Rivers of Living Water’ relating to the Reconstruction of Theological Thinking has also been published.
