During the Bible Ministry Exhibition of the Church in China
being held in Atlanta, Rev. Cao Shengjie, Rev. Deng Fucun
and Rev. Shen Cheng-en of the Chinese Christian Delegation
were invited to attend various welcome fellowship and send
greetings to local congregations.

Lisu choir is performing during
the welcome banquet at Emory University
Before the Grand Opening of the Bible Ministry Exhibition,
the Atlanta Regional Hosting Committee held a welcome banquet
at Emory University in the evening of May 18. Apart from
the local hosting committee members, about 200 people including
the professors of the Emory University and other church
leaders from places outside Atlanta attended the banquet.
Both hosts and guests delivered warm speeches. Musicians
from Emory University and Lisu Choir from the Chinese Christian
Delegation offered splendid musical performances.

Annual Breakfast Prayer of the Regional
Council of Churches of Atlanta
The Regional Council of Churches of Atlanta held its 2006¡¯
Annual Breakfast Prayer in the morning of May 20. More than
200 local pastors and co-workers were present at the Breakfast
Prayer. During the event, Rev. Shen Cheng-en introduced
about the publication of bibles in simplified Chinese in
1980s. Rev. Cao Shengjie briefly introduced the church ministries
in China followed by Question & Answer session. All
the attendees were greatly moved. Afterward, they visited
the Exhibition in groups. After visiting the Exhibition,
Bishop L. Bevel Jones III from the Methodist Church said
that the Exhibition and the musical performance were amazing
and he thanked the churches in China for bringing this exhibition
to USA.

Rev.Cao Shengjie attended the service at the Second-Ponce
de Leon Baptist Church and sent greetings to the congregation
On the two Sundays in Atlanta (May 14 and 21), Rev. Cao
Shengjie, Rev. Deng Fucun and Rev. Shen Cheng-en attended
services in Cathedral of Saint Philip, Peachtree Road United
Methodist Church, Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Wieuca
Road Baptist Church and John¡¯s Creek Church and sent greetings
to the congregations of more than 4, 000 people all together.

Rev.Deng Fucun sent greetings and
present a gift to the John¡¯s Creek Church
On hearing the prosperity of the churches in China, the
Christians all were overjoyed and praised God¡¯s name, especially
the local Chinese Christians all felt very favorable. A
Christian woman about 80 years old not only came to visit
the Exhibition in the afternoon, but also brought much delicious
Chinese food for delegates from China.
