Due to natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes and
hail storms, residents of some Chinese regions are suffering
from a shortage of clothes, quilts, grain and many other
goods; a shortage that will make it difficult for them to
survive the winter.
On December 21st, 2005, during the pre-Christmas morning
worship of the CCC/TSPM staff, a donation was organized
by staff members to show their love and affection for the
disaster victims.

Although it was cold outside, people¡¯s hearts were warm.
Keeping Scripture deep in their hearts, staff members knew
that ¡°It is more blessed to give than to receive¡±. Through
offering a helping hand, staff members expressed their solidarity
for those in need.
The donation was presided over by Rev. Cao Shengjie, President
of the CCC. Staff members of the CCC/TSPM made contributions
which amounted to 3,476 Yuan. The money was sent to the
Donation Acceptance Office of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau
of Civil Affairs in support of a campaign to ¡°warm people¡¯s
hearts this winter¡±.
