The Bible Ministry Exhibition of the Church in China

The Bible Exhibition to be held in USA is the first-ever Bible Ministry Exhibition abroad since the Chinese churches reopened in 1979. The Exhibition of the Chinese Church Bible Ministry is displayed in six sections.

The Early History of the Bible in China: The efforts made by Chinese Christians and the foreign missionaries for the translations and publications of the Bible in the early nineteenth century laid a solid foundation for the steady development of the Bible Ministry of the Churches in China after the founding of New China.

Bible Publication after 1980: This section is an eye-opener for many visitors who are not aware that so many bibles are produced in China today. It shows visitors how bibles are produced and how the Word of God reaches millions of households.

Bible Distribution after 1980: Distribution through the internal church network guarantees quick delivery of Bibles to Christians in cities, counties, towns and villages throughout China. Through this network, the Bible is available to everyone who wants to buy a copy.

Bible Ministries for National Minority Churches: China is a country with a multitude of nationalities. The Good News has reached many ethnic groups, and the Bible has been an indispensable friend in their spiritual lives.

The Bible and Church Life: The Bible is the foundation of faith and essential spiritual food in Christian life. In this section visitors see the affection Chinese Christians have for the Bible, and how Chinese pastors minister to their flocks with the Word of God.

Christian Art Works: Many of the Christian art works in this section of the exhibition paintings, calligraphy, paper cuts and carvings - have never been exhibited before. They show how Chinese Christian artists are searching to express the messages of the Christian gospel through both traditional Chinese and other art forms.

A large number of historical photos and original copies of Bibles preserved by Christians on display are very valuable, as are handwritten and stencil-cut-print copies.

During the past decades, the Churches in China has printed, published and distributed 40 million bibles. The number is still growing.

Bishop K.H.Ting, president of the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary said, Ħ°The Bible unites us!Ħħ

This exhibition has received the broad support from the US society. Dr. Bill Graham said, Ħ°I m thankful for the news of the exhibition of the Bible that will be brought to the United States. They had a tremendous reception in Hong Kong when it was exhibiting and I believe it will in the United States. We certainly are delighted this is going to take place and we will be praying for its success.Ħħ

Former President Jimmy Carter said, Ħ°The exhibition will be a wonderful demonstration of the increasing friendship and common commitments for the Chinese and American people. Worshipping the same personal Savior Jesus Christ is something that is very precious to us and to the millions of people there in China. I believe that the exhibition will be a good learning experience for Americans to see more and more of what is going on in China so we can offer our thanks to God for this blessing for us both. I look forward to supporting the exhibition in every way I can.Ħħ

We are looking forward to the holding of the exhibition, which will be a witness to God and give glory to Father in Heaven. May God bless the ministry.
